I.                Did God really say you were not to eat from any of the trees in the garden?

II.              You sure not surely die (v. 5)

A.     God knowns your eyes will be opened (v. 5)

B.    You shall be like God (v. 5)

C.    You will know good and evil (v. 5)

III.            When the woman saw that: (v. 6)

A.    The tree was good for food (v. 6)

B.    It was delightful to the eyes (v. 6)

C.    The tree can make one wise (v. 6)

D.    The woman took of it ate (v. 6)

IV.            Then the eyes of both were opened (v. 7)

I.                Creation by the council of God

A.    Let us make man in our image (vv. 26a-c, 27).

B.    Let them have dominion (v. 26d).

II.              God blessed them

A.    God sees fruitfulness in them (v. 28c).

B.    God sees them multiplication in them (v. 28d).

C.    God sees them filling the earth (v. 28e).

D.    God gives them power over the earth (v. 28f).

E.     God gives rulership over the all things on the earth (v. 28g).

III.            God gave them food.

A.    To them God gave every fruit bearing plant (v. 29).

B.    To every other beast and creature God gave every green plant for food (30).

IV.            God saw that everything was good (31).
