April 19, 2020 Return to In-church Services Starting April 26

Daejeon Onnuri English Ministry is planning to resume in-church sermons on April 26. Daejeon OEM will have its worship service at 2:00 pm on the fourth floor of the Onnuri Building. However, because of the pandemic, there are a few new regulations which we must follow in order to attend an in-church service. For those who are registered with Onnuri church or ischool please read section A. For those who are not registered read section B.

Section A

  1. Using your smart phone click on this link http://bitly.kr/fIMBQrDA, to download a barcode you before you go to church. The bar code is needed for you to enter the church. Essentially, the bar code saves your information and shows when you enter the church. To get the barcode you will need to enter your name, birthdate and phone number on page the link above brings you to. This information needs to match your information registered in ischool.
  2. To reserve a seat in the main sanctuary for Korean services, you can reserve a seat and get a QR code which is different than the barcode. The reservation system will start on April 25.
  3. When you get to church, you need to have the barcode on your phone scanned as well as have your temperature checked.
  4. Enter the sanctuary for worship.
  5. You will need to wear a mask and keep a safe distance from others while in the church building. Also there will be no food, no beverages and no small groups. In fact, you will need to leave right after the service.

Section B

  1. New members who have not yet registered can sign a guest book after they have had their temperature checked. Be ready to give your name, phone number and any other information required.
  2. Enter the sanctuary for worship.
  3. You will need to wear a mask and keep a safe distance from others while in the church building. Also there will be no food, no beverages and no small groups. In fact, you will need to leave right after the service.

Please do not invite guests or visitors. At this time, the church cannot accept or take responsibility for people the church is unfamiliar with.

Do not attend church if you are sick or have been told to self-isolate. You can always watch the service online after it has been uploaded to YouTube.

Later this week, we will announce the days and times of the small group online studies since we cannot meet for small groups at the church.

I look forward to seeing everyone in person next Sunday. Let our small sacrifices be made into something great for Jesus and His kingdom.

God is good.
